ahhh..the first post

So I did the whole blogging thing on Xanga back in the day. But evidently everyone has switched over to this one, so it looks as though I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Which isn't normal, normally I run in the opposite direction of the bandwagon, but not this time. I guess I just want to keep up with some of my friends who have moved. And if someone else benefits from my mixed-up ramblings in the process, then so be it.

With a new blog comes a new blog name. Now I've never been one of those super creative people who could come up with cool, random names for stuff like that. But I knew i wanted something different that described me and the blog. While I'm listening to my ipod (surprise surprise), I notice that I have 3 different songs entitled "Who Am I". These songs have different lyrics, but the basic idea is the same.

• "Who am I that The King would bleed and die for Who am I that He would pray not my will, Thy Lord The answer I may never know Why He ever loved me so But to that old rugged cross He'd go For who am I?"
• Not because of who I am, But because of what you've done. Not because of what I've done, But because of who you are.

Not only is this blog my writing, therefore telling the reader who I am, what I'm about, what I think and what I want out of live, but it's also descriptive of my undeserving nature for what my Lord has done for me. If you read this blog, you will see that I do not by any means have it all together. I don't have any answers and I screw up my life on a daily basis. But that doesn't matter. Because who I am is so much bigger than what I'm capable of, solely because I am a child of God. I have been saved through the blood of Christ and however undeserving I may be, I have been guaranteed an eternity in Heaven. So, my prayer is that anyone reading this would not see me, but see who God is and what He can do through a crazy college student.
